Stuczynski looking to vault to new world record

EUGENE, Ore. — Four years ago, Jenn Stuczynski ended her basketball career and learned to pole vault. Now she's taking cracks at the world record. Since setting her third U.S. record, 16 feet, 3/4 inches in May, Stuczynski has taken six attempts at 16-5½, which would exceed the world record 16-5¼ of Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva.
