Ritzenhein alters schedule to be ready for Olympics

With an Olympic berth in the marathon already secured, Dathan Ritzenhein isn’t taking any chances this year. The 25-year-old distance runner, who lives and trains in Eugene, has withdrawn from Saturday’s USA Men’s 8K Championships in New York City’s Central Park due to lingering soreness in his iliotibial band.
