Colorado Springs, Colo. (January 24, 2008)—USA Cycling has recognized Tim Johnson (Middleton, Mass./Cyclocrossworld.com) and Katie Compton (Colorado Springs, Colo./Spike Shooter) as the overall winners of the 2007 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Racing Calendar. Following the conclusion of the 38-event calendar at the Urban Cyclo-Cross competition in Irvine, Calif. on January 19, Johnson earned 512 points on the men’s side, while Compton garnered 310 to take the top spot for the women. read more...

More than $1.2 million is again up for grabs to elite-level cyclists as USA Cycling announced its 2008 National Racing Calendar (NRC) on Wednesday. Entering its 12th season, next year’s NRC features 35 events across 23 states and will again crown the nation’s top domestic individuals and teams.
