The ING New York City Marathon 2007 on Sunday 4 November presents an interesting contrast between the men’s and women’s races. One major change this year is that there will be no “rabbits” – those paid-for pace-setters whose job is to assure a fast race. That may make a difference in the men’s race, but it probably won’t in the women’s.
