Paula Radcliffe of Great Britain, the women’s world marathon record holder with a 2:15:25 from London in 2003, won Sunday’s ING New York City Marathon - her first venture at the distance in more than two years - in 2:23:09 after dueling with Ethiopia’s Gete Wami for 26 miles.
