Johnson, Compton Earn Cyclo-cross National Calendar Titles

Colorado Springs, Colo. (January 24, 2008)—USA Cycling has recognized Tim Johnson (Middleton, Mass./Cyclocrossworld.com) and Katie Compton (Colorado Springs, Colo./Spike Shooter) as the overall winners of the 2007 USA Cycling Cyclo-cross National Racing Calendar. Following the conclusion of the 38-event calendar at the Urban Cyclo-Cross competition in Irvine, Calif. on January 19, Johnson earned 512 points on the men’s side, while Compton garnered 310 to take the top spot for the women.
