George Hincapie is the only cyclist to race on eight Tour de France-winning teams. This year he passed on the chance for No. 9, which turned out to be a smart decision. The tall, affable New Yorker was a key player in all seven of Lance Armstrong's Tour wins and supported Alberto Contador in the Spaniard's 2007 victory.
