KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee track and field coach J.J. Clark has been named the NCAA Division I women's coach of the year. The honor, given by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, comes on the heels of the Lady Volunteers second NCAA indoor track and field championship. Clark is in his seventh season as Tennessee coach and won the coach of the year award in 2005, the year of the Lady Vols other national championship. (more)

Oregon men, Tennessee women win National titles
The Oregon men won their first indoor team title with 54 points, while the Tennessee women won their second team title since 2005 with 42 points over the weekend at the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, at Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium College Station, Texas. The Florida men were second to Oregon with 36 points, and Texas A&M's women were second to Tennessee with 37 points.
