The last time a men’s team won back-to-back championship titles was Georgetown, who won in 2000 and 2001. On the women’s side, Miami won back-to-back championships in 2003 and 2004. (more)

Louisville men first, women second after day one at Big East Championships
NEW YORK – Following day one of the 2009 BIG EAST Indoor Championships at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory in New York City, the University of Louisville men’s team leads while the women’s team sits in second.
